Revision of Hierarchy Scheme for Radionuclide Activity, Radionuclide Specific Activity, Flux and Flux Density of a-, b-Particles and Photons of Radionuclide Sources

An overview of the main changes in the hierarchy scheme for radionuclide activity, radionuclide specific activity, flux and flux density of a-, b-particles and photons of radionuclide sources (GPS), regulated by GOST 8.033-2023, are presented. The place and role of hierarchy schemes in ensuring the uniformity of measurements are explained. The most significant reasons of revisions are reflected, special attention is paid to the latest changes and the specifics of their application to ensure the uniformity of measurements in the field of ionizing radiation.
