Determination of the Sensitivity of the Active Neutron Method for Monitoring the Content of Nuclear-Hazardous Fissile Nuclides in Barrels with Cemented Radioactive Waste

The work is devoted to the experimental determination of the sensitivity of the active neutron method for determining the content of nuclear-hazardous fissile nuclides (FN) in radioactive waste packages in the form of 200-liter barrels filled with cement. The measurement results made it possible to determine the minimum detectable mass of FN in the amount of 10 mg (for 235U) at a pulsed neutron generator flux of 5?108 n/s, a measurement duration of 200 s and the use of two neutron detection modules based on the neutron monitoring systems TSRM82.100 or TSRM82.300
