Reliability allocation for civil aircraft system based on improved AHP by weakening factor
Reliability allocation represents a fundamental component of the reliability design process for civil aircraft systems. To address inherent limitations of the traditional Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), such as the inability to integrate evaluations from multiple experts and challenges in maintaining consistency within the judgment matrix, an optimal transfer matrix is introduced to ensure that consistency requirements are satisfied. Additionally, to mitigate the problem of disproportionate influence among evaluation factors when determining the weights of multiple objects under various criteria, a weakening factor is incorporated. This factor reduces the impact of less significant elements on the overall result. Based on these enhancements, a reliability allocation approach for civil aircraft systems is developed using an improved AHP methodology. The validity and practical applicability of the proposed method are demonstrated through an engineering case study involving a passenger mechanism cooling system.
