Safety accelerated test principle of safety-critical man-machine systems
Safety-Critical Man-Machine Systems (SCMMS) require a high degree of operational safety; however, direct safety testing f or such systems is often both resource-intensive and time-consuming. To address these limitations, this study introduces the novel concept of “acceleration” into the context of safety testing and proposes a safety accelerated testing framework for SCMMS. Initially, safety-sensitive factors involved in human-machine interaction during emergency operating procedures are systematically analyzed. Based on these factors, safety acceleration testing schemes are developed. Subsequently, safety acceleration models and evaluation methods are introduced to estimate the accident probability of SCMMS under standard operating conditions. The proposed safety acceleration testing approach significantly reduces the number of required tests an d associated costs, while providing effective support for safety design and evaluation in SCMMS.
