Reliability modeling and analysis of robotic arm hinge mechanism based on belief reliability
The hinge mechanism is a crucial component of robotic arms, essential for their normal operation. Failure of this mechanism impacts the retraction and extension of the swing arm, significantly compromising the accuracy and stability of the robotic arm during operation. A belief reliability calculation method for hinge mechanisms is proposed, integrating Function, Performance, and Margin Analysis (FPMA) with Performance Parameter Degradation Analysis (PPDA). This integration results in the establishment of interdisciplinary, metric, and margin equations. By applying the proposed calculation method to a specific robotic arm hinge mechanism, the belief reliability curve of the hinge mechanism is derived and validated.
