Research on key technologies of reliability enhancement test of airborne equipment
Reliability Enhancement Testing (RET) has emerged as a critical methodology for addressing the balance between reliability growth and testing efficiency during the development of equipment. The underlying strength-stress interference theory is systematically examined to clarify the physical mechanisms by which accelerated failures occur through the expansion of overlapping regions in stress-strength distributions. A structured analytical framework for identifying sensitive stresses in airborne equipment is presented, accompanied by representative stress profiles corresponding to common device categories. Key aspects of RET implementation are analyzed, including stress application protocols, measurement instrumentation, failure criteria, and fault diagnosis procedures. These elements collectively establish the theoretical and methodological basis for effective RET deployment in the development of airborne systems.
