An integrated platform for dynamic reliability and risk applications
In the paper, an integrated platform for dynamic reliability, risk, and safety analysis is presented. The platform consists of four core modules: (i) a simulation-driven fault injection machine that establishes probabilistic mapping schemes through Monte Carlo trace analysis of system dynamics; (ii) a matrix-based computational architecture supporting autonomous learning algorithms for Markov/CCMT model generation and adaptive updates; (iii) a hybrid compute engine incorporating system interdependencies and phased mission dynamics to enhance dynamic risk-based reliability assessment capabilities; (iv) an enhanced safety monitor that enables configuration risk management. The platform is developed using JAVA in MATLAB/Simulink environments. Considerable potentials can be envisioned to support risk-informed decision making and enhance safety management practices in safety-critical applications using the platform.
