Equipment damage assessment method based on multi-parameter damage information fusion
To address the challenge of delayed performance assessment of weapons and equipment following battlefield damage, a methodology for damage evaluation based on multi-source information fusion is proposed. This approach involves the strategic deployment of various sensor types at critical interfaces, essential components, and vulnerable areas of the weapons and equipment. Upon sustaining impact, these sensors capture and transmit diverse signal data, which are subsequently collected and stored via an integrated data acquisition and storage module. The study utilizes the fused multi-source data to evaluate the extent of damage sustained by the equipment. This methodology provides essential data support for rear command decision-making processes and enhances the situational awareness and battlefield damage assessment capabilities of weapons and equipment in operational environments.
