Remote fault analysis plan for aircraft electromechanical systems on the ground
Aircraft demand exceptionally high standards for safety, reliability, and maintenance support. To mitigate the elevated false alarm rate of failures, which increases maintenance workload and associated support costs, a ground-based remote fault analysis solution is proposed for aircraft electromechanical systems. Leveraging existing aircraft health real-time monitoring systems, a dedicated ground remote fault analysis system is developed. The Kalman filtering technique is applied for aircraft data pre-processing. In conjunction with an enhanced spectral time-matter neural network, a dual-channel fault analysis method is constructed, incorporating both threshold-based and state transfer-based approaches. Subsequently, a fault analysis platform integrating data pre-processing and fault analysis capabilities is established. The feasibility of the proposed solution is validated through a case study on the aircraft air conditioning system, a subsystem known for its high failure rate.
