Reflection on building a data standardization system for special environments and disasters
<p indent="0mm">Special environments and disasters have significant impacts on regional ecological environmental security and socio-economic development. Data standardization for special environments and disasters are fundamental components that support the wide application and element-based enablement of data. They play a crucial role in fully leveraging the value of data, empowering ecological governance and disaster prevention and mitigation, supporting data-driven emergency response to disasters, and promoting data technological innovation in special environment data. Based on the practical experience of the National Cryosphere Desert Data Center, this paper surveys current domestic and international developments in the construction of data standardization for special environments and disasters, analyzes the demand for scientific data standardization in this field, proposes a standardization system for data standardization in special environments and disasters, and provides suggestions for building a special environment and disaster data standardization system in combination with the standards for disaster-emergency-response data engineering. This is aimed at supporting the preparation of high-quality special environment and disaster datasets and AI-ready data, and is expected to provide references for ecological and disaster management agency, data management institutions, data service platforms, and researchers.
