Synchronous Increase in Spin‐State Induced by Advanced 3 d –4 d Orbital Hybridization for Enhancing Radical Yield (Adv. Funct. Mater. 51/2025)
Wastewater Remediation In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202514549), Haodong Ji, Nan Xu, and co-workers report an advanced 3d–4d orbital hybridization strategy, which can synchronously regulate the spin-state of asymmetric catalytic sites from molybdenum doped cobalt oxide, as depicted in this cover image. This regulation mechanism realizes the enhancement of interfacial electron transport efficiency, accelerating the peroxymonosulfate activation and generation of active radicals for helping wastewater clean-up.
