Pleomorphism in Wild‐Type and Engineered PP7 Virus‐Like Particles (Small 50/2025)
Virus-Like Particles Cryo-EM analysis of virus-like particles derived from the PP7 bacteriophage, differing only in the amino acids of a domain-linking peptide, shows a variety of structures in distributions that are sensitive to small differences in sequence. These results highlight the power of certain biomolecules to retain their self-assembling function while undergoing mutational change. More in article number 2506285, M.G.
