THE ROLE OF THE NATIVE LANGUAGE IN THE ETHNIC CONSCIOUSNESS OF COMPATRIOTS FROM CHINA
After gaining independence, one of the directions of ethnographic processes in Kazakhstan was the return of ethnic Kazakhs to their historical homeland. The mass migration of the Kandas people led to changes and transformations in the socio-communicative space of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, the study of the problems of linguistic and cultural adaptation of our compatriots in modern Kazakhstan is of particular scientific and methodological relevance and socio-political significance. Currently, various research groups are studying different aspects of this multifaceted problem. The purpose of this article is to develop scientific and methodological foundations for intercultural communication, language and socio-cultural adaptation of Kazakh repatriates, and to create models for providing them with comprehensive linguistic, cultural, and socio-psychological support and effective methodological assistance. The main research areas are as follows: - to examine the types of social support that facilitate the cultural and linguistic adaptation of Kazakh repatriates; - Determining the language adaptation and communicative-psychological integration of representatives of different generations of our compatriots. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that every year the surface of the language barrier facing compatriots returns, the authority and role of the Kazakh language grows, and there is a radical change in the attitude of the local population towards the language. As a result of the study, the barriers faced by the world's repatriates upon their return to their historical homeland will be examined, a comparative analysis of the barriers faced by our compatriots will be conducted, and ways to address the issue will be explored. The theoretical and methodological framework of the study is based on the fact that different opinions of our compatriots who have relocated to their historical homeland have been studied over the years, leading to a common solution.
