Students’ Curriculum Preferences on Using Artificial Intelligence Applications in Higher Education

This study focuses on the issue of students’ attitudes on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in the curriculum of the Preschool and Primary Education specialization from the University of Craiova, Faculty of Letters. Starting from our previous studies on curriculum preferences, we elaborated a special questionnaire, with the aim of identifying the sources of information on the use of AI in education, the ways in which the AI application are currently used by students, perceived utility and relevance in the curriculum, perceived advantages and disadvantages in the context of postmodern pedagogy. The results confirmed the relevance of the instruments used to analyze students’ curriculum preferences and highlighted several different research directions on the potential application of AI in higher education curriculum.
