The state of one’s mouth, teeth, and orofacial structures affects one’s capacity for speaking, eating, and breathing, as well as one’s ability to be brave enough to interact and work without experiencing pain or discomfort. This study focuses mainly on the periodontal health maintenance among the professionals and insists them for a better oral hygiene measures in the future. Methodology: For this inquiry, an online questionnaire-style survey was conducted over a period of 7 months. The study’s goal was to find out how knowledgeable the employees and students were about periodontal health in professional settings (pharmacy, engineering, and medicine). While the author of this study created the remaining questions, some of the questionnaire’s components came from other studies. The respondents’ demographic information is presented in the first section, and information about periodontal health and the connection between systemic and oral health is included in the second. We will assess professional students’ and staff members’ perceptions and understanding of periodontal health as members of our society. Here, the individuals’ knowledge of oral health is evaluated using the questionnaires. Results: In this survey, we compared the awareness of periodontal health among medical, engineering, and pharmacy students and staffs. Medical professionals have higher awareness about oral hygiene procedures, whereas pharmacy professionals are very well aware about Periodontal diseases. Conclusion: We draw the conclusion that professional students and personnel in the medical, engineering, and pharmacy areas have a low degree of understanding regarding periodontal health. Therefore, it is the responsibility of every dentist to inform patients about dental procedures and motivate them to practice good oral hygiene.
