A Retrospective Comparative Analysis of Demographics and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patients With Progressive Collapsing Foot Deformity and Ankle Instability or Hindfoot Arthritis
This study found that patients who underwent surgical management of PCFD demonstrated significant improvements in their PROs and postoperative satisfaction; however, there were lower odds of satisfaction at 12 months compared with 6 months. Additionally, PCFD patients showed greater improvement in Pain Intensity from baseline to follow-up, whereas other PROMIS domains improved similarly between groups.Level of Evidence: Level III, retrospective comparative cohort study.
