Exploration of Music Education in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of Aesthetic Ability Cultivation
Under the strategic frameworks of "Education Revitalizes the Nation" and "Talent Empowers the Nation," higher education institutions must prioritize aesthetic cultivation to overcome current developmental bottlenecks in music education. Issues such as outdated concepts, monotonous teaching methods, and overemphasis on technical skills at the expense of aesthetic appreciation have hindered students 'adaptation to societal demands. By innovating educational mechanisms and establishing a comprehensive training system encompassing aesthetic perception, expression, appreciation, and creation, coupled with practical approaches including strategic planning, faculty development, immersive teaching environments, and in-depth exploration of musical works, we can not only enhance students' professional musical competencies but also promote their holistic development. This approach fosters moral integrity, preserves cultural heritage, and ultimately cultivates versatile music professionals who meet contemporary needs, driving high-quality advancement in university music education.
