This study highlights significant clinicopathological and prognostic heterogeneity between advanced gastric and colorectal SRCC, with colorectal tumors demonstrating more favorable outcomes. Surgery + CT may improve survival, highlighting the need for personalized treatment strategies based on the primary tumor site.
