Rotational magneto-photo-thermoacoustic dynamics in hydro-semiconductor media with mass diffusion

Purpose: This study develops a comprehensive theoretical framework to investigate the propagation of photo-thermoacoustic waves in a magneto-hydro-semiconductor medium influenced by rotational motion and chemical diffusion. The work addresses the need for advanced modeling of multiphysical interactions in porous semiconductors subjected to external fields. Methods: The proposed model integrates the effects of rotation, magnetic fields, optical excitation, and mass diffusion within the framework of extended photo-thermoelasticity theory. Analytical solutions to the coupled governing equations are obtained using the normal mode technique. The analysis considers two-dimensional plane wave propagation in a porous semiconductor under harmonic excitation, with dimensionless variables used to generalize the results. Results: Key physical variables, temperature, stress, displacement, carrier density, chemical potential, and excess pore pressure, are evaluated and presented graphically under varying conditions of rotational speed and magnetic field intensity. The results reveal that both rotation and magnetic fields act as stabilizing agents, damping oscillations and reducing peak amplitudes across all fields. These effects significantly influence wave behavior, particularly in the presence of mass diffusion. Conclusion: The study demonstrates that the inclusion of rotational and magnetic field effects is essential for accurately modeling wave propagation in hydro-semiconductor materials. The proposed framework is particularly relevant for the design and optimization of devices such as optoelectronic sensors, thermoelectric converters, and photoacoustic imaging systems. Future extensions may incorporate nonlinear and nonlocal effects for enhanced predictive accuracy.
