Short-Term Clinical Outcomes Following Transaortic Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation: A Single-Center Experience
Objective: In August 2017, our hospital introduced transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) using the transfemoral (TF) approach as a first-line option. Since then, the transaortic (TAo) approach has been actively used as a second-line option. Herein, we present the short-term (perioperative) outcomes of TAVI using the transaortic approach as a second-line option following the TF approach.
