Testing the reliability of the method for calculating the survival probability
The deexcitation process is the final leg of a nuclear reaction, and it directly determines the final products of the reaction. The accuracy of nuclear reaction cross sections is highly dependent on the calculation of survival probability. To verify the reliability of the theoretical model in calculating the survival probability, the fusion probability ${P}_{\mathrm{CN}}$ is assumed to be 1 for superasymmetric reaction systems. The capture cross sections are calculated with the empirical coupled-channel model. The survival probability is calculated using the KEWPIE2 model. The asymptotic values of five different level-density parameters were evaluated, and one with the highest accuracy was selected for calculating the survival probability. The KEWPIE2 model can accurately represent the experimental cross section in the ($Z\ensuremath{\le}100$) region. However, due to the complexity of fission dynamics, the theoretical results can only provide a rough estimate of the size and trend of the evaporation residue cross section for superheavy nuclide. Finally, the calculation results of the $\mathrm{GEMINI}++$ model were compared.
