Vancomycin‐Modified DNA Origami Nanostructures for Targeting Bacterial Pathogens
DNA Origami Nanostructures In their Research Article (10.1002/sstr.202500246), Yixin Zhang, Adrian Keller, and co-workers use click chemistry to decorate DNA origami nanostructures with the small molecule antibiotic vancomycin. The vancomycin-modified DNA origami nanostructures show efficient and robust binding to the surfaces of various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria without affecting bacterial growth.
