Synthesis of 3-benzoylisoxazolines by copper(Ⅰ) bromide-catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of nitroketones with dipolarophiles
An efficient copper(Ⅰ) bromide catalyzed 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of different α-nitroketones with dipolarophiles has been investigated. These reactions afford the corresponding 3-benzoylisoxazolines in moderate to high yields (up to 99.9 %) under mild conditions. This method provides an economical and simple route to construction of isoxazole or isoxazoline ring. • The first application of cuprous bromide to construct isoxazoline ring. • The reaction substrate range is wide. • These reactions afford the corresponding 3-benzoylisoxazolines in moderate to high yields (up to 99.9 %) under mild conditions. • Reaction applications can achieve gram-scale conversion.
