Dirac fermions meet Kondo lattice
In the van der Waals material CeTe 3 , two kinds of electronic states of Dirac fermions and heavy fermion states coexist and interact with each other. Zeng et al. revealed that the effective mass and mobility of Dirac fermions change at the Kondo and Néel temperatures, as determined by optical conductivity and quantum oscillation measurements.
