Transition‐Metal–Free Trifluromethylation of Imidazopyridines at C3 Position With Togni Reagent I
ABSTRACT A highly efficient, transition‐metal–free trifluoromethylation of imidazopyridines has been achieved using Togni reagent I under simple reaction conditions. This operationally simple method, which employs commercially available reagents, displays good functional group compatibility and a broad substrate scope.
