[EN] This false door belonging to the so-called Khuwy was found in Saqqara next to the pyramid of King Teti, the first king of the Sixth Dynasty. One of his many titles was the title of the High Priest of the Pyramid of King Teti, among many titles and descriptions that indicate his distinguished position and great influence, perhaps the most important of which are the titles of the Chief Physician of the Royal Palace and the Chief Dentist. This false door may indicate the existence of a tomb in the vicinity of the pyramid of King Teti that has not yet been discovered, belonging to (Khuwy), especially since this false door was cut off and connected to it was part of a side wall containing the remains of scenes of men offering sacrifices by slaughtering the calves to be sacrificed, which indicates that the tomb from which the false door was cut off must have contained engraved rooms, like the tombs of (Ti and Mereruka) in Saqqara. Khuwy’s many titles also indicate the extensive powers that the kings of the Sixth Dynasty granted to the senior statesmen, which may have made their influence greater than that of the kings of this dynasty.
