Deeply Implantable, Shape‐Morphing, 3D MicroLEDs for Pancreatic Cancer Therapy (Adv. Mater. 49/2025)
Adaptive Optoelectronics for Cancer Therapy In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202411494), Keon Jae Lee, Tae-Hyuk Kwon, and co-workers develop an adaptive optoelectronic device for treating pancreatic tumors. The 3D, windmill-shaped microLEDs dynamically morph to conformally grip the tumor surface as it changes size. This ensures sustained, targeted light delivery for effective photodynamic therapy. The cover visualizes this seamless, therapeutic embrace.
