Comparison of periodontal status between abutment and non-abutment teeth in patients with fixed dental prosthesis
Fixed dental prostheses may negatively influence periodontal status of abutment teeth, highlighting the need for periodic periodontal monitoring, patient education regarding oral hygiene and prosthetic quality control.
