Tremorometry: Diagnostic capabilities and test technique
The review addresses instrumental methods for diagnosing tremor, with a focus on cutaneous electromyography. A differential diagnosis of various types of tremor is described, with special attention paid to psychogenic tremor. A typical tremorometry protocol using the cutaneous electromyography method is provided. Tremorometry is a simple, non-invasive, painless, but informative method that helps in differential diagnosis.
