Unstudied Ammonite Ammonites Baeri Simonovich, Bacevich et Sorokin, 1876 from the Upper Cretaceous Deposits of the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody Region

Ammonites were found in the Upper Campanian deposits of the type locality of Ammonites Baeri Simonovich, Bacevich et Sorokin, 1876 in Yessentuki. This species is almost unknown in the literature due to its uncertain features and the absence of type material. The study of these ammonites allows us to ascribe Ammonites Baeri to the Coniacian–Maastrichtian subgenus Hauericeras (Gardeniceras).
