Using ScreenPal to Provide Multimodal Feedback in Second Language Writing
The effectiveness of traditional text feedback has been questioned due to its single learning style and lack of engagement. To address these concerns, a multimodal turn in second language writing feedback has emerged, advocating the combination of various modes in feedback, known as multimodal feedback. To provide multimodal feedback, ScreenPal is a useful tool due to its versatilities. This technology review mainly discusses the use of the free version of ScreenPal in multimodal feedback, including its features, potential benefits and limitations.
