A powerful three-dimensional C–F–Bi cathode for Zn–CO 2 batteries

A three-dimensional electrode composed of Bi 2 O 3 and F-doped carbon fibers for Zn–CO 2 battery was designed to achieved a faradaic efficiency of 97% for formate with 231 mA cm −2 at −1.1 V vs. RHE, which may be used in high performance Mars battery.
