Design of load overload output frequency stability control algorithm for medium
Due to the complex topology of the distribution network and the high dynamic and uncertainty of load variations, traditional control methods struggle to respond effectively, resulting in a poor frequency stability control effect. In order to ensure the stable operation of the medium voltage distribution network, a frequency stability control algorithm for the overload output of the medium voltage distribution network is proposed. The algorithm analyzes the interconnected operation state of the medium voltage distribution network and determines that the power variation and frequency deviation are the main factors affecting the operation stability of the distribution network. The fractional-order proportional integral differential controller controls the frequency stability according to the result and outputs the control result. In order to improve the precision of the controller output, the controller parameters are optimized by using the improved beetle antennae search algorithm. The test results show that the frequency control response delay of the proposed algorithm is within 300 ms, and the frequency deviation results are within −0.04 to +0.04 Hz. The maximum value of output power oscillation degree and oscillation duration is 7.1% and 0.12 s, respectively, and the current balance index results are above 0.935 to ensure current stability.
