Caron program has 14 beds for seniors only

The importance of specializing substance use disorder (SUD) treatment for seniors is underscored by the rising prevalence of problems in this population. At Caron, in Wernersville, Pennsylvania, age‐specific programs have been important for some time, including those for adolescents. Caron always had room for older adults with the rest of the adult population, but now they have their own program, according to Ming R. Wang, M.D., Medical Director for Caron Pennsylvania.
