Dark Energy Survey Year 3 Results: Cosmological constraints from second- and third-order shear statistics

The authors demonstrate that combining the third-order aperture mass statistic with the two point correlation function on Dark Energy Survey Year 3 cosmic shear data leads to a 111% (22%) improved figure-of-merit on the joint \ensuremath{\Omega}ₘ-S₈ (S₈-w₀) constraint. They further show that the tension to Planck data is thus at the 2.3\ensuremath{\sigma} level.

Abstract

The authors demonstrate that combining the third-order aperture mass statistic with the two point correlation function on Dark Energy Survey Year 3 cosmic shear data leads to a 111% (22%) improved figure-of-merit on the joint \ensuremath{\Omega}ₘ-S₈ (S₈-w₀) constraint. They further show that the tension to Planck data is thus at the 2.3\ensuremath{\sigma} level.
