Multi-Octave Modified Uni-Travelling Carrier Photodiode Packaging Exploiting a 100 - 500 GHz Waveguide Transition
We present a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$100-500 \text{GHz}$</tex> device to waveguide transition for ultra-wideband THz integrated circuits for 6G. A modified uni-traveling-carrier photodiode (MUTC-PD) source using this transition demonstrates maximum output powers of -1 and -20 dBm at 100 and 500 GHz respectively.
