Impact of Elevation Angle on 100 Gbps Optical Coherent Uplink Transmission in Low Earth Orbit Satellite Communication
Ground to low Earth orbit satellite optical coherent uplink transmission was investigated using 100 Gbps transceivers and atmospheric turbulence channel emulation module. Link performance was experimentally evaluated for different orbital altitudes and elevation angles showing feasibility of using commercial off-the-shelf transceivers for such links. ©2025 The Author(s)
