Abstract

We demonstrate a wafer-scale fabricated, Erbium-doped DBR laser on a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{Si}_{3} ~\mathrm{N}_{4}$</tex> chip (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$50 \text{mm}^{2}$</tex> footprint) with 2.05 mW fiber-coupled output power and 130 Hz linewidth, achieving high performance in a compact design.
