High Output Power, 128 GBaud Monolithic InP Integrated Transmitter Fabricated in an Open Access Foundry
We present high baud rate transmission from a monolithically integrated Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC), consisting of a narrow linewidth fast switching tunable laser, connected to a high speed Mach-Zehnder Modulator (MZM) and a booster Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA). We demonstrate a modulation of 128 GBaud and an in-fiber output power of 3 dBm. © 2025 The Author(s)
