Integrated Multi-Band Photonic Filter Based on MRR–SSG for Tunable Frequency Hopping

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a multi-channel photonic filter based on a cascaded microring resonator-superstructure grating structure, optimized using a SaDE-SQP algorithm. Featuring thermally tunable passbands and supporting frequency hopping above 300 GHz, it provides a novel integrated solution for reconfigurable, high-security terahertz communication systems.

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a multi-channel photonic filter based on a cascaded microring resonator-superstructure grating structure, optimized using a SaDE-SQP algorithm. Featuring thermally tunable passbands and supporting frequency hopping above 300 GHz, it provides a novel integrated solution for reconfigurable, high-security terahertz communication systems.
