200G-PON Based on 4×50Gbit/s NRZ LWDM Signals Coexisting with 50G-PON, XGS-PON and G-PON
We demonstrate 200G-PON transmission using 4×50 Gbit/s NRZ channels over 20 km of fiber, achieving optical budgets of >33 dB while coexisting with three legacy PONs. We propose reusing components similar to those in 50G-PON, ensuring flexible, cost-efficient, pay-as-you-grow upgrades up to 200 Gbit/s.
