Fluorescence-active nanorod-like triads assembled from organically-derivatized polyoxometalates
Two monosubstituted organoimido hexamolybdates, in which contain isoquinoline or quinoline, respectively, have been successfully synthesized. Furthermore, by the coordination driving of silver(I) ion, these obtained organoimido derivatized hexamolybdates can assemble with β-octamolybdate in more controlled way, to form nanorod-like triads. Contrary to the isolate polyoxometalates before assembly, these nanosized polyoxometalate assemblies can exhibit interesting fluorescence activities.
