Suburbs Placement in Relation to Land Quality
One of the problems of suburbanization is the occupation of agricultural land. When defining newly built areas, the suitability of the land should be considered. The paper tries to verify, on the example of 8 selected Czech municipalities, whether the suburban-type built-up areas they define in their territories respect this principle and what proportion of these areas is located on land belonging to the highest three soil quality classes.
