A Hybrid Wireless Power Sharing Control of DAB and LLC Converters in Parallel in DC Microgrids

Combining the dual active bridge (DAB) converter and bidirectional LLC resonant converter operating at a fixed frequency can achieve bidirectional power regulation and high efficiency in DC microgrid applications. This paper proposes a hybrid wireless power sharing control for the DAB converter, which controls the power sharing with parallel LLC converter in DC microgrids applications. Aiming at improving the system-level transfer efficiency and maintaining the power control flexibility key problems, several scenarios are considered, including the impact of transmission line, location, and the communication level. The proposed method does not need communication signals between individual power supplies and can mitigate transmission line influence, which is fully scalable. Finally, theoretical developments are validated using simulations results.
