Reconfigurable Microenvironments Uncover Mechano‐Sensing Timescales and Direct Cell Polarity (Adv. Funct. Mater. 49/2025)
Programmable Nanomaterials This cover illustrates the internal architecture of a DNA-crosslinked cell-culture matrix (DyNAtrix). Dynamically switchable DNA crosslinks regulate mechanical interactions between living cells and their three-dimensional microenvironment. Leveraging DNA nanotechnology, DyNAtrix allows researchers to study cellular mechanotransduction and to actively guide the development of cells and organoids in a Petri dish (Design contribution: Yu-Hsuan Peng).
