Dissipative iterative learning tracking control for time‐delay first‐order hyperbolic systems
Abstract This paper studies the dissipative iterative learning control (ILC) for time‐delay first‐order hyperbolic systems (FOHSs). Firstly, by means of dissipativity analysis, the P‐type learning algorithm is introduced to demonstrate that the time‐delay FOHSs can achieve the perfect trajectory tracking over a finite‐time interval. Then, by using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, a sufficient condition is manifested for such systems to satisfy the dissipativity, and a solvability criterion of the LMI is further given. In addition, the dissipative ILC is investigated for the time‐delay FOHSs in the irregular case. Finally, simulation examples are constructed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
