Microwave absorption performance of ZnFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles coated with carbon and SiO 2

ZnFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles were prepared by a field-assisted steam–thermal method and coated with C and SiO 2 . The ZnFe 2 O 4 @C shows excellent microwave absorption (−46.2 dB) due to conductive loss, interfacial polarization, and impedance matching.
