The publishers of the Research Journal of Textile and Apparel wish to retract the article Riana, I.G. (2020), “Creating performance through innovations influenced by knowledge sharing and absorption capacity at the Bali weaving industry association”, published in the Research Journal of Textile and Apparel, Vol. 24 No. 1, pp. 38-52.It has come to our attention that a large portion of this article is taken, without sufficient attribution, from an earlier article by Riana I.G., Rihayana I.G. and Kumala Ratih I.A.D. (2019), ‘Creating Innovation through Knowledge Sharing and Absorptive Capacity’, Polish Journal of Management Studies, Vol. 19, Issue 1, pp. 338-352, Link to the cited article.The author of the article has stated that they did not submit the article to the journal; the Editorial team of the Research Journal of Textile and Apparel and the publisher have been unable to identify who submitted the article.The Research Journal of Textile and Apparel submission guidelines make it clear that articles must be original and must not infringe any existing copyright. The publishers of the journal sincerely apologise to the readers and the original authors of the work.
