ECLSS Module Integrated Air Revitalization Testing

Vast is focused on designing and launching next-generation commercial space stations in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) with induced artificial gravity. A key aspect of any long-duration space station is maintaining a safe, healthy cabin environment. Vetting and validation of key functionalities of ECLSS as a complete system is a significant risk reduction and system optimization. This paper provides an overview of Vast’s ECLSS Module test stand which provides the capability to test integrated behavior, telemetry, and operations of multiple systems in parallel, including the oxygen, main air flow path, IMV, trace contaminant control and waste systems.
