Exploration and interpretation of dielectric relaxation parameters of binary mixtures at low temperature using TDR
Complex permittivity spectra (CPS) of Ethyl Acetate-Xylene solutions were measured using time domain dielectric spectroscopy (TDDS) technique in 10 MHz to 50 GHz frequency range at low temperature of about 10 °C. Key parameters such as static dielectric permittivity and relaxation time have been obtained by fitting CPS to non-linear least square fit method in Debye model. The observation of static dielectric parameters (ε o and τ), excess dielectric permittivity, excess relaxation time with molecular dynamics among similar and diverse molecules have been undertaken to study the behaviour of structural variations in the mixture at low temperature.
